Biography:
Chicago native, Jennifer M. Fletchall joined the law firm of Levin & Brend, P.C. in 2001. While in law school she clerked full time for the firm and then went on to join the firm as a full time associate in 2004. In 2007, Ms. Fletchall became a Junior Partner of Levin & Brend, P.C. Also in 2007, Ms. Fletchall fulfilled the licensing requirements necessary to become a Certified Public Accountant. In addition, she is currently completing her certification requirements to become a certified business valuator through the American Society of Appraisers.
Ms. Fletchall earned her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in 2004 after graduating from the University of Illinois Champaign - Urbana with a B.S. in Accountancy. In addition, in 2008 she completed the classes required to earn an L.L.M. degree in Taxation from the Chicago Kent School of Law.
Ms. Fletchall is an attorney who focuses her practice in the areas of Family Law, Domestic Relations, Tax Law, Business Valuation and Forensic Accounting. Her professional memberships include the Chicago Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association, American Bar Association, Illinois CPA Society, American Society of Appraisers and Business Valuation Association.
Ms. Fletchall is the editor of the textbooks, “Accounting For Divorce: Taxes, Business Valuation and Forensic Accounting” and “Trial Issues: National Business Institute Manual Entitled Child Custody and Shared Parenting in Illinois.” She has also spoken at seminars for Lorman Education Services: “Divorce – Business Valuation, Finding Money and Taxes: A Case Study on the topic of Business Valuations”, 2008; "Divorce: Accounting and Tax Issues on the topic of “Financial Disclosure Statements – What is Income?” 2007; and for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education: “Money Matters in Divorce: Property Allocations on the topic of Business Valuation”, 2008.
