Biography

Caroline Uy, a Chicago native, is a Certified Public Accountant that focuses in the areas of individual, corporate, and partnership taxation, representing individuals, businesses and business owners facing IRS or state tax audits, and financial investigations for use in complex divorce matters.

Ms. Uy graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in Statistics and Operations Research and a B.A. in Economics in 2007. Later that year, she joined Levin & Brend, P.C. as a financial assistant to Sander Levin and Gregory Papiernik. Ms. Uy has recently obtained her M.A.F.M. (Masters in Accounting and Finance Management) from Keller Graduate School of Management in June 2012. While working full-time for the firm and studying for her Masters, she has passed all the exams necessary to become a Certified Public Account in February 2012 and completed her certification requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant through the State of Illinois.

Ms. Uy lives in the Western suburbs of Chicago. She enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Olive.
